Very fun and inviting sweets shoppe. They have cupcakes, fudge, chocolate covered treats, and name brand candy. They also have a kid's version of a saloon where they make milkshakes and sodas. There's seating to dine in and even complete a table top puzzle. A classic use of the historic building.

It is the pistachio and kataifi treat that went viral worldwide, built on a Middle Eastern dessert called knafeh. Crispy shredded pastry and pistachio cream get wrapped in chocolate, and the crunch is the whole point. Ours is made locally in North Carolina, so you can skip the overseas shipping.
In windows, because they are only worth eating fresh. Dipped strawberries peak within about a day, so they appear when berries and demand line up rather than sitting out year round. Call before you drive over for them, or ask about a pre-order for a holiday.
That is bloom, and it is harmless. Warm temperatures or moisture pull cocoa butter or sugar to the surface, where it sets as a pale film. The chocolate is still safe to eat, just a little less glossy. Storing it somewhere cool and dry keeps the shine.
Absolutely. Truffles, bonbons, and covered treats mix into boxes we tie up at the counter, and a few pieces of old-fashioned candy round one out nicely. Tell us the occasion and the person, and we will help you pick the assortment.
Something cold, mostly. A glass bottle soda cuts the richness perfectly, and plenty of visitors finish a chocolate stop with a scoop from the counter. If you are browsing for someone else, the case sits close enough to the register to point and choose. Ask us anything before you visit.
