The Candy Shoppe on Main has served the local community for over 10 years. It sells a wide variety of candies including:
- fudge
- chocolates
- name-brand candy
- old fashion candy
- hand dipped ice cream
- old fashioned milk shakes
- frozen slushies (Cheerwine and Sun Drop)
In June 2019, The Candy Shoppe on Main was purchased by Rohan Banton of Kannapolis NC.
The original owners did not want to sell The Candy Shoppe on Main to anyone....they wanted to find someone that had their same vision for the old fashioned candy shop.
They found a shared vision with Rohan and he is excited about the potential of this business
Mr Banton has most recently added an old school slushie machine with local favorites, Cheerwine and Sun Drop.
He has also recently commissioned several pieces of art of the interior walls and front windows that fit the old school image and also various times of the year.
